About

Hello! I'm Musa.

I graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with an M.S. in Computer Science in 2023, as well as a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in music in 2022. I'm currently working as a software engineer.

I like software systems. I've taken coursework including distributed systems, computer networks, compilers, and programming languages. During 2021, I participated in research in testing PMem systems for crash consistency bugs. I also completed a master's thesis in applying symbolic execution towards patch verification. In 2023, I was a graduate student instructor for Introduction to Computer Organization (EECS 370). Topics in this course included assembly language programming, compilation and linking, and CPU architecture.

I'm interested in the philosophy of art, especially as it pertains to the intersection of art and technology. (More to come...?)

I'm also a video game developer, pixel artist, and composer. During 2021, I was the president of WolverineSoft, the game development student organization at the University of Michigan. You can see some of the games I've made at game jams here and some of the music I've composed here.
